Other Notes

June 2017

I think this was a hosta that my mother gave to me. The first year I had it I thought it was rather garish in color.  But then in 2015 s new neighbor came over, with his kids, and one of the things he said was, "That's an interesting plant.".  It was at that moment that I was forced totally reconsider what 'aestthetic' meant.  And because of that I decided to keep the hosta.

During 2017 his kids decided to create a fairy garden.  I wasted to support the effort because I feel that it is good for kids to believe in the impossible as they grow up.  [I believe in fairies!" (clap your hands) from "Peter Pan"] What better hosta to give them than Rainbow's End; and the dad gets to have a plant he really likes!
